Infrastructure and equipment
As the southernmost German Baltic Sea port, the seaport of Wismar is ideally located for the flow of goods in the Baltic Sea, in Germany and throughout Europe. North-south traffic between Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Russia and Central Europe finds excellent connections here for transportation by road, rail and sea.
Whether by ship or truck - you can easily reach your berth or transshipment point here.
The optimal accessibility of the hinterland also makes the location attractive for industrial settlements. And the properties on and around the port area itself also offer short distances to the direct vicinity of internationally important companies.
With extensive investments in infrastructure, we are securing our competitiveness for tomorrow and creating more opportunities for you. To this end, we are currently expanding the seaport of Wismar to include new handling and loading areas, a large-scale quay facility and multifunctional areas for cargo handling.
